How to do the Confusion effect in Vegas

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make “Confusion” in Vegas Application.

If you don’t have a Sony Vegas, you can get it here -> Sony Vegas

Step 1: Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Import video

Step 2: Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Step 3: Choose Lab Adjust in the list of effects.

Step 4: In the window for Lab Adjust, choose Preset Inverse Luminosity.

Step 5: Add 2nd effect Mirror.

Step 6: In the list of presets for Mirror, choose Reflect Left.

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 7:
For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Reverse.

Step 8: Render the video, you have successfully made the Confusion Effect.

How to do the Pitch White effect in Vegas

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make Pitch White effect in Vegas Application.

Step 1: Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Import video

Step 2: Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Step 3: Choose Gradient Map in the list of effects.

Step 4: Customize the gradients using the following settings.
1st Gradient:

R -> 255G -> 255B -> 255A -> 255

2nd Gradient

R-> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 0

3rd Gradient

R-> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 0

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 5: For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Properties.

Step 6:
In the popup window, change the following:
Method: elastique
Stretch Attributes: Efficient
Pitch Change: 24.000

Step 7:
Render the video, you have successfully made the Pitch White Effect.

How to do the Pitch Black effect in Vegas

Step 2:
Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Choose Gradient Map in the list of effects.

Step 4: Customize the gradients using the following settings.
1st Gradient:

R -> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 255

2nd Gradient

R-> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 0

3rd Gradient

R-> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 0

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 5:
For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Properties.

Step 6:
In the popup window, change the following:
Method: elastique
Stretch Attributes: Efficient
Pitch Change: -24.000

Step 7:
Render the video, you have successfully made the Pitch Black Effect.

How to do the Strawberry Milk effect in Vegas

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make Strawberry Milk effect in Vegas Application.

Step 1:
Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Step 2:

Choose HSL Adjust in the list of effects.

Step 4: In the window for HSL Adjust, set Hue to 0.250

Step 5: Add 2nd effect Gradient Map.

Step 6 Customize the gradients using the following settings.
1st Gradient:

R -> 255G -> 165B -> 204A -> 255

2nd Gradient

R-> 0G -> 0B -> 0A -> 0

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 7:
For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Properties.

Step 8:
In the popup window, change the following:
Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: 16.000

Step 9:
Go to your audio again and right click it, then choose Duplicate track

Step 10:
Change the pitch of the new audio with the following:

Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: 4.000

Step 11:
Render the video, you have successfully made the Strawberry Milk Effect.

How to do the Pika Major effect in Vegas

Step 1:
Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Import video

Step 2:
Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Step 3:
Choose Color Corrector (Secondary) in the list of effects.

Step 4:
A popup will appear, copy the settings below.
Rotate Hue -> 24.490
Saturation -> 3.000

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 5:
For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Properties.

Step 6:
In the popup window, change the following:
Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: -7.000

Step 7:
Go to your audio again and right click it, then choose Duplicate track

Step 8:
Change the pitch of the new audio with the following:

Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: 0.000

Step 9:
Do Step 7 and 8 one more time with the following pitch.

Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: 7.000

Step 10:
Render the video, you have successfully made the Pika Major Effect.

How to do the Sad X effect in Vegas

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make Sad X in Vegas Application.
This effect is also known as X is Sad.

Step 1: Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Import video

Step 2: Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Step 4: In the window for Wave, change it and follow the settings below:

Step 5: Add the 2nd effect Invert.

Step 6: In the list of Presets for Invert, choose Default.
Blend Amount: 1.000

Step 7: Add the 3rd and last effect HSL Adjust.

Step 8: In the window for HSL Adjust, set Hue to 0.620.

That’s it for the video effect, if you are using Gummy Bear as reference, it should look like this

Step 9:
For the audio part, right click audio, then choose Properties.

Step 10:
In the popup window, change the following:
Method: Classic
Stretch Attributes: A17. Drums, unpitched (minimum echo)
Pitch Change: -7.000

Step 11:
Go to your audio again and right click it, then choose Duplicate track

How to do the Asleep X effect in Vegas

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make Asleep X in Vegas Application.
This effect is also known as X is Asleep.

Step 1: Open Vegas application, then import your video.

Step 2: Go to video section and click fx symbol. As an alternate way, you can just right click the video and choose Media fx.

Step 4: In the list of Presets for Invert, choose Default.
Blend Amount: 1.000

Step 5: Add the 2nd effect HSL Adjust.

Step 6: In the window for HSL Adjust, set Hue to 0.250.

In this tutorial, we will learn how to make Divided X in Vegas Application.
